Caravans Of Hope

May 03, 2020

2020 has been a challenging year for everyone. Most of our families have been in isolation since last year's flu season began, and have no end in sight. We wanted to do something special for them and give them something exciting to brighten their day. Over three Saturdays, we coordinated with first responders, schools, Memorial High School's B.E.S.T.I.E.S. students, and amazing volunteers to reach all communities in which we have children. Then we paraded throughout the communities with lots of honking, waving, and encouraging signs of support. At the end of each caravan, a Granted Board Member jumped out and gifted each family with a box of activities for the family, as well as some snacks.

What a fun and safe way to bring communities together for a great cause.
